Tanning
If your club offers tanning, you can implement key card activation of the tanning
bed. To do this, a card proximity system is installed inside the tanning suite.
To begin a tanning session, a member must
first have their card read by a proximity system.

The following describes a typical tanning scenario:
- After the member’s card is read, the check-in software verifies that the member
is eligible to use the tanning facilities.
- Next, the check-in software verifies that the member has not already tanned on the
same day.
- Finally, the system will turn on the bed and allow it to run for the set time.
For added convenience, a member can charge a tanning session to their EFT account or
their credit card. And we will process the charge automatically along with their
other billing.
